Fold over elastic also known as FOE is a wonderful addition to your sewing room.  Used to make all kinds of projects this unique item is made of plush polyester that stretches just like elastic.  FOE acts as not just an elastic but a binding as well.  Apply it just like you would binding for a nice finished edge with less work than turning and top stitching.  You can either sew this down flat or stretch it as you sew to give your item some elasticity to it.
